Black Walnut Cabinet Faces and Refinish

We were hired to remodel a client's kitchen by refinishing the existing cabinet bases and replacing the faces with solid black walnut. Every cabinet door and drawer was replaced, and custom steel hardware was added. We helped our client decide on a rich charcoal color pai for refinishing the existing cabinet bases.

Black Walnut Kitchen Island

​We built a large kitchen island with a black walnut food-grade finished top and steel base with locking castors. It features a steel-lined shelf.

Black Walnut Thick Opening Shelving 

We removed and repaired the drywall behind the new black walnut open shelving system. Raymond built a sturdy yet modern steel bracket system to support the 2-inch-thick shelves. He also added hanging racks below the shelves for kitchen utensils.

Steel Potrack & Black Walnut Hood Cover

Raymond designed and welded a steel pot rack, which was mounted to the left of the stove and hood. We covered the hood vent with black walnut to complement the cabinets.
